Since the School System of Philadelphia has been experiencing a tough time, most schools have shut down. However, there are some celebrities who have stepped up and made some donations. One of them is Kevin Hart who recently donated $250,000. This time, Drake wants to do his part in making a contribution.
According to Drake, when he learned that Strawberry Mansion High School is about to close, he was touched, he said:
“I caught this piece that Diane [Sawyer] did. By the end of it I was so heavily affected I started questioning major aspects of my life.”
We made a visit to the school and met with the kids and hugged them. He also told them, “I’ma be here for you. I promise. I got you.” He also made a surprise announcement by telling the crowd:
“In the next few months, I’m building a recording studio inside your school. This about you. This about your principal. This about your future. I love you. I care about you. I want to see you succeed.”
Isn’t it a good deed?

Ciara proves to the world that she still got it. She recently shows off her sexy body on the latest issue of GQ Magazine. Ciara was wearing a major underboob while photographers Gomillion & Leupold take the shots. Inside the magazine, she announced her latest track entitled, “Overdose.” She also provided some suggestions on how boys should approach a girl while they are on the dance floor.
What can she say about her latest hit single, “Body Party”? Ciara said:
“It’s one of those songs that happened fast, because it has such a sweet vibe. I can’t even lie, when we were mixing it, I was listening to it over and over like a fan. I don’t like using obvious samples, but it felt right—I couldn’t ignore the track the way [producer] Mike WiLL flipped the sample of ‘My Boo.’ It’s one of those songs a girl can sing to her man and where guys don’t have to feel too cool to slow dance with your girl.”
What are her comments in being named as one of the best dancers in Hollywood? She replied:
“Go with the flow; don’t overthink it. If you’re a head-nod kind of guy, nod your head. If you’re a guy who likes to coast out and rock or sway, just do that. Whatever you do, don’t get out there and try do something you haven’t practiced. Do what shows your style and vibe—let me catch that without you trying to show me anything. I’m kind of okay to just chill. Keep it simple and let the girl guide you a little bit. If you can do that, I think you’ll be alright.”

Aside from being busy in promoting her new movie, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story”, Keke Palmer is also posing in magazines. The singer is recently featured in the photo spread of Rolling Out magazine. Palmer is not a girl anymore and she has turned into a sexy lady. Inside the magazine she revealed how she was able to balance her career and her personal life.
KeKe discussed her life as she was growing up. She said:
“When people think of me initially, they remember me as ‘Akeelah [and the Bee].’ Sometimes it can be frustrating to be remembered at an age that you’ve outgrown. But at the same time, it’s never frustrated me to the point that I’ve wanted to lash out. I just take it one step at a time. I’ve been patient in letting people adapt to me and my growth.”
Is she proving to the public that she is already an adult? KeKe revealed:
“If anything, it makes you look even more like a kid! As an adult, you don’t have to go around saying, ‘Hey, I’m an adult!’ That would be like saying, ‘Guess what — I’m black!’ You know it already. I just [try to] constantly be a professional by asking for what I need in the right way. I feel like you have to tell people who you are, but you don’t have to be disrespectful about it. But you also don’t have to be a shrinking violet. For a long time, when I was younger, I would always act like a little kid and I would just [bow] down because I would never want to feel like I’m being disrespectful to someone. But at the same time, I was like, ‘I’m 18-years-old and I’m not a kid anymore.’ I don’t have to wait for people to do things for me. I started saying, ‘No, that’s not OK. This is what I want. This is what I need from you. Please and thank you.’ At the end of the day, you’re going to have to speak up for yourself — and I learned that after always being, for lack of a better word, crapped on.”
How was she able to balance her career and personal life? She admitted:
“Sometimes my personal life takes a backseat. My job never takes a backseat. Sometimes I feel like my life is in shambles and I’ll still be doing my job. It’s unintentional.”
Isn’t she sexy?

Is it alright to gain weight after your marriage? According to Boris, it is not acceptable:
“What if I gained 200 pounds? And then she’ll look at me like, really? And I couldn’t even blame her if she started looking around. Because I took her off the market, so I have to deliver what the market could possibly deliver for her. So, I gotta take that place. Right? So, I gotta fulfill those things that the market could’ve given her. I’m the market now, so I got to keep it hot and she has to do the same for me.”
But according to Derek Luke, Boris’ co-star, it should not be based on the looks only but it should go deeper, he said:
“That’s part of my character. Part of my character is about commitment. You know what I’m saying? So, even if you doing the humpty dumpty, it’s commitment, cause you know what? The dude could go humpty dumpty! He could go from six pack to one pack, you know what I’m saying? Because in marriage, your body changes.”
“I think [Boris] is right, you should put in effort to keep it sexy, but I think if you have missed the effort to keep it sexy, I think that there should be something stronger than your effort to keep it sexy. It should be commitment. That’s why marriages are failing in America and across the world, because there’s no commitment. Because commitment is the key to success. You can go up and down. It’s about where you land. It’s about your commitment. Cause sickness, weight, that’s in your confessions when you get married.”
Laz Alonso graces the January 28th edition of JET Magazine under the title “Successful, Sexy, & Very Single”. As one of the stars of NBC’s ‘Deception’, viewers get a weekly dose of his good looks, but during the interview in JET, he gives his fans a closer look into his life in Hollywood and his life off-screen.
Alonso had this to say about being labeled a sex symbol:
“I don’t take it too seriously because looks fade. We all are going to get older and that whole heartthrob label will go to someone else… Regardless of how you look, the way you make a person feel, that’s eternal.”
On dating and relationshops:
“When dating somebody, I like to see them laugh and make the times we spend together more fun than they could ever imagine.”
On Marriage and Kids:
“I want kids— just not out of wedlock… Because my father died when I was young, I’m extra cautious about not creating a single-parent home.”
