Philip Seymour Hoffman has been battling with his substance abuse problem but after obtaining a treatment of detox, he seems to be fine and now he is already making a movie.  Hoffman has been avoiding drugs for the past 23 years.  But about a year ago, he began gradually with taking prescription pills until he resorted to heroin.

In 2006, Hoffman won a Best Actor award in Oscar for “Capote.”  He revealed that he only used heroin for a week or so then he immediately comprehended that he required some help.  He quickly turned to a detox facility located on the East Coast for treatment.  Last Friday, he left the facility after staying there for 10 days.  Hoffman thanked his “great group of friends and family” who encouraged him to seek help so that he can feel better.

Hoffman is clean now and he is in Europe to do a movie.
