Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have officially married this afternoon. According to sources the wedding was held in rural France and the ceremony was intimate. The couple say “I do” at the Chateau des Conde. This Renaissance chateau is located in the Burgundy countryside.
Berry and Martinez wed in the chapel and it was officiated by a local mayor. It was witnessed by their family and friends. The sources further added, “White marquees were put up around the grounds and everyone was very discreet because it was a show-business wedding, but generally it was pretty down-to-earth.”
Berry, who wore a cream dress, arrived in a white limousine. This is Berry’s third marriage since the actress had been married twice before. Berry’s daughter Nahla was also at the wedding.
Watch out for more details about this simple but intimate wedding!
Congratulations to Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez!
Now, Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez already know that they are expecting a baby boy. It’s not really sure if Martinez divulged it intentionally or not. Last Wednesday, he proclaimed at the Champs-Elysées Film Festival, “My son will be an American, but I remain French.” The 47-year-old actor is chosen as the honorary president of the festival.
It will be the first baby boy for the couple. Berry, the Oscar-winner actress, already had a 5-year-old daughter from her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
The “Unfaithful” actor and Berry have been dating since 2010. Berry was astonished by her pregnancy. Last April, she said, “This has been the biggest surprise of my life to tell you the truth.”
“I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”
Congrats to Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez!
It looks like model (and Halle Berry’s babydaddy) Gabriel Aubry won’t be spending the new year behind bars. At least not for his altercation with Halle’s latest man, actor Olivier Martinez.
Prosecutors have decided not to press charges in the Thanksgiving Day brawl that left Olivier with an injured hand and Aubry with an extremely injured face. The fight not only proved that Gabriel Aubry is a lover and not a fighter, but that he should probably consider anger management courses, which according to reports, was a condition to his probation sentence.
If he stays out of trouble for a year, no charges will be formally made against him. Let’s hope Aubry can keep it together until at least Christmas this year!
