Leah Remini on Leaving Scientology: ‘I’m Not About to Shut Up’

Leah Remini recently announced that she will continue talking.  After the 43-year-old actress left Scientology, she is now speaking about it for the first time.  She said, “I believe that people should be able to question things.  I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct. That for me, that’s what I’m about. It wouldn’t matter what it was, simply because no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to.”

Remini is considered as one of the well-known members of Scientology.  However, when she started to ask questions about the disappearance of David Miscavige’s wife, some members became distant from her.  This is the reason why she decided to split from the controversial church.

Remini said, “It doesn’t matter, it could be anything.  I’m not about to shut up.”
