It all started when Chaka Khan was interviewed during the 7th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood event. A reporter from Hollywood Today told her that she is “flawless like Beyonce’s song.” After making that remark, Chaka rolled her eyes then started to mumble something. It’s not really clear what Chaka was mumbling but some people assumed that she called Beyonce a “b*tch.”
It quickly went viral which prompted Chaka Khan to apologize to Bey on Twitter. She told Beyonce that she was the target of a slow news day: She tweeted:
“@Beyonce Sorry you had to be the target of a slow news day. You know I have nothing but LOVE for you! Keep handling your business!!”
However, after Chaka made the apology, she quickly deleted it. That is why, people are now wondering if she is really sincere in making her public apology. Even though she revealed that she was not throwing any shade on Beyonce.
Why did Chaka delete the tweet?
