Ray Rice and Janay Palmer
On Feb. 15, NFL’er Ray Rice allegedly hit his fiancee, Janay Palmer. The incident took place at the Revel Casino. On March 27th, the grand jury in Atlantic County decided to indict the player on the charge of aggravated assault. Initially, it was just a case of simple assault but the prosecutors decided to turn it over to the grand jury and the charged was raised to aggravated assault. If convicted, Rice could get imprisoned for three to five years.
According to Ray’s attorney, Michael Diamondstein:
“On behalf of Ray Rice, we vehemently deny he committed aggravated assault. We think the matter of the charges involved will not be substantiated. Ray and Janay Palmer are together. They’re in counseling and happy. Neither wish to see the other prosecuted. For some reason the State of New Jersey prosecuted. As always, we only hope the public reserves judgement until the facts are brought to light.”
According to Ray’s team, the Baltimore Ravens:
“This is part of the due process for Ray. We know there is more to Ray Rice than this one incident.”

LaLa and Sway
La La Anthony and her husband Carmelo Anthony have experienced ups and downs in their marriage. However, these things only made their relationship stronger. In 2004, there was an incident which could have destroyed Carmelo career.
According to reports, La La ex-fiancé and Carmelo had a fight in a certain club. Some people adored him for defending his woman while others fear that he might lose his endorsement opportunities. Later on, when Carmelo was interviewed he said that “he only did what any man would have done for their woman.”
Now, despite the fact that the couple is having a strong relationship, La La still recalls the abuse from her ex. During her interview at Sway In The Morning to promote her new book, she said:
“You know and it was my first love and I felt like he was controlling me because he loved me and that’s how he’s showing me that he loved me. And it was later on that I realized that was completely wrong and that’s a message I want to get out to young women out there. That’s not love.”

She also chatted about the worst moments in this abuse, she revealed:
“Throwing plates of food at me. Breaking glasses. Always being really angry and upset. I was like, ‘This can’t be love.’ Love shouldn’t feel like this. I would tell myself that and continue to stay. It could be the smallest thing–that could be your breaking point. And I remember calling my dad like, ‘Dad, I need you to come and get me.’ I hadn’t even talked to my dad because I had isolated anyone who wasn’t a fan of the relationship. Anyone that didn’t say anything good, I didn’t want to talk to them. I said, ‘Dad, you got to come get me.’ Literally, my dad just got in the car and drove up there to come pick me up. It’s a defining moment to my life that I’ll never forget.”

After being arrested due to Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Justin Bieber is being confronted by another issue. It seems that there is a possibility that he will be deported to Canada, where he was born. According to Attorney Michael Wildes, first-degree misdemeanors do not likely led to deportation. However, there has been an ongoing petition being launched which recommended that the 19-year-old singer should return back to Canada. The petition reads:
“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
As of the moment, it has about 700 signatures. By next month, it should be able to generate an additional of 99K signatures. After posting a bail of $2,500, the singer was released from jail.

Charlie Sheen and Capri Anderson are back together again after they were involved in a fighting incident at the Plaza Hotel in 2010. According to sources, Anderson has been spotted in the Los Angeles mansion of Sheen. The source said, “It’s crazy. It’s been about a month now.”
“Charlie doesn’t really hold grudges and lives in the moment, which explains why he’s moved Capri in with him.”
Back in October 2010, the starlet and the “Wall Street” actor had a wild night which resulted to the hospitalization of Anderson and the psychiatric evaluation of Sheen. Anderson, which is also known as Christina Walsh in real life, alleged that Sheen paid her $3,500 as his escort for the night. After having their dinner, they took some drugs in their Plaza room. She also claimed that she was threatened by the actor.
On the other hand, Sheen claimed that Anderson took his Patek Philippe watch which is worth $165,000. He claimed, “She fabricated a sensational tale about being assaulted, battered and held against her will, and used that fictional story as a basis for an extortion plot.”
“Charlie’s been partying almost harder than ever. Charlie and Capri pretty much just act like none of the craziness from the past ever happened. It’s the weirdest thing,” the source said.
