For some celebrities rehab stints are no big thing. For others, the same can be said about jail sentences. In Bobby Brown’s case, it may be all of the above. The singer has just been slapped with a 55 day jail stay for driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. He must also pay a $500 fine plus penalty assessment, as well as complete an 18-month long rehabilitation program.
The second count against Brown mandates that he be placed on a 36 month probationary period. Basically, if he is caught illegally for any of the above (and more), Brown could face some serious jail time in the future. Starting on March 20th, Brown will have to report to jail to begin his sentence. He will be able to start his Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in a week.Brown has had several incidents over the past year and it is not yet certain what will happen to him after he is released in May. Here’s to hoping that Bobby finally gets his health taken care of and is able to abstain from relapsing in the future.
