The British soul/singer Adele has given birth !!
Adele, singer of “rolling in the deep” and boyfriend Simon Konecki reportedly welcomed a baby boy on Friday night — but as of yet there’s no official word.
Adele’s publicist told Us Weekly and the Daily Mail, “We are not releasing a statement at this time, No comment.”
Now people, do you really believe that if Adele did not have her baby 2 days ago, her publicist would have responded, “No Comment?”
But a source close to the singer tells London’s Daily Mail, “Adele and Simon are ecstatic at their new arrival. She was over the moon that they were expecting their first child together.”
According to U.K. reports, the 24-year-old British muscian and her charity worker partner Simon Knoecki confirmed their baby news on June 29th, 2012 when they published the following statement on Adele’s website:
“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me.”
Adele, 24, began dating 38-year-old Konecki; who heads clean-water charity Drop4Drop; late last year. The couple began dating in summer 2011 and moved in together earlier this year. The child is the first for Adele and Konecki’s second — he has a five-year-old daughter with ex-wife Clary Fisher.
Just last week People magazine ran a cover feature on the singer and detailed how she was keeping a low profile and expecting the baby any day now.
A source told People magazine that the couple plans to keep the child away from the spotlight and are in the process of renovating a four-bedroom home in Hove, about 55 miles outside of London on the south shore of England.
“Neither she nor Simon want to bring the baby up in London,” says the source. “She says it’s like a goldfish bowl.”
The singer recently released a new single, “Skyfall,” the new theme song from the upcoming 23rd James Bond film of the same name.
If you didn’t know that Adele was expecting……. now you know! Adele gives birth to a baby boy!
